Portorož Airport firefighter Emanuel successfully completed firefighting school
On Thursday, June 14, 2018, training of the 25th generation of professional firefighters was completed at the Training Center for Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief.
Over the course of 911 teaching hours, 41 candidates were trained to perform preventive and operational work in the field of firefighting, fire protection and protection and rescue in case of natural and other disasters. During the training, 85 instructors and lecturers participated. All candidates were successful and the knowledge gained can now be used in their units. Defense Minister Andreja Katič, General Director of the RS Protection and Rescue Directorate Darko But, representatives of the Association of Slovenian Occupational Firefighters and Firefighters Association of Slovenia and other guests, also saw the demonstration exercise together with relatives and friends of the 25th generation of professional firefighters.
