10th Istrian Carnival - Programme:

Saturday, 10^th February, at 8 pm, Tartini Theatre in Piran – Grand Carnival Ball

The theme for this year’s ball is famous people from history. The musical needs will be taken care of by DJ Adriano Roj and the group Blue Angel Gang; there will also be a special guest – the folklore group from Milje, “Folclore Serenade”. There will also be a contest for the best single, couple and group masks. 

Sunday, 11^th February, od from 12 pm until 5 pm, Portorož – Istrian Carnival in Portorož

11 am – 5 pm: Stand, featuring carnival related goodies

1 pm – 5 pm: Animation for kids by clowns and jugglers

1 pm – 4 pm: Creative workshops for kids and face paintings

2 pm: 8^th Carnival Procession in Portorož

3.30 pm: Musical programme

4 pm: Announcement of the contest winners

Wednesday, 14^th February, at 4 pm, Beli križ – 56^th Symbolic Burial of the Carnival
